Stargazing Safari

Wonder at the dazzling beauty of a natural night sky on our dark sky tour. Mayo International Dark Sky Park has been certified at Gold Tier dark sky park for its night sky quality.

This guided tour combines a laser pointer tour of the starry skies and constellations with an introduction to the local nocturnal wildlife in the Mayo International Dark Sky park. Our guides know the dark sky part intimately and will bring you to the darkest viewing places and bring the night sky and mythical constellations to life with a tour of the celestial heavens.

The evening concludes with a visit to a traditional Seanchaí (storyteller) for local tales and stories together with close up magic and a drop of hot chocolate to set the scene under the night sky.

This tour involves some short walks with transportation in between.
